BOSTON, April 15, 2026 — Yuma AI, the AI agent platform for ecommerce customer support, today announced Yuma x Claude MCP, a new integration that lets merchants connect their Yuma account directly to Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant. Once connected, CX teams can ask Claude anything about their Yuma account and leverage the data with any other tool connected to Claude.
The integration is powered by the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for connecting AI assistants to external applications. For merchants already working with Claude across Shopify, Google Sheets, CRMs, and other systems, Yuma data now sits alongside the rest of their stack in a single conversational interface.

What Yuma x Claude MCP Does
The integration gives merchants access to their Yuma data from anywhere they use Claude:
- Pull metrics and performance data: Ask Claude for automation rates, CSAT trends, or volume breakdowns without opening the Yuma dashboard.
- Investigate individual tickets: Ask how a specific ticket was handled and why, directly from Claude.
- Check configuration: Review how processes, automations, and settings are configured in plain English.
- Diagnose changes in performance: Ask why an automation rate changed this week and get an answer grounded in the merchant's actual setup.
- Cross-reference across tools: Combine Yuma data with any other tool connected to Claude. A merchant can ask, for example, "Show me every ticket this week where the customer also had a Shopify order over $200," and Claude will pull from both Yuma and Shopify in a single response.
Complementary to Ask Yuma
The Claude MCP integration launches one week after Ask Yuma, Yuma's conversational interface inside the Yuma dashboard. The two are designed to complement each other.
